I am a New York based filmmaker and film teacher. I was born in Israel, raised in Mexico and educated in the US. Since graduating from City College’s MFA program under the sponsorship of the Fulbright fellowship for international students I established my production company Platonic Films Inc, that would produce my work as a filmmaker. My debut feature film about the trial that never followed the death of Eric Garner at the hands of the NYPD had its World Premiere at the 57th annual New York Film Festival to rave reviews. The film had a successful virtual theatrical release (due to the Covid-19 lockdown) and is now available on cable via the ReelzChannel. I'm currently developing a number of new feature and TV projects.
