About Nicos
Based in Spain, Nicos Beatty is a Director, Writer, and Producer who, during the course of more than 20 years, has worked on some of the largest film productions in Spain with distinguished filmmakers Woody Allen, Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu, Steven Soderbergh, Larry Charles, Marc Forster, in addition to renowned Spanish directors such as Jaume Balagueró, Manuel Huerga, and Bollywood movie-maker Zoya Akhtar in "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara", winner of 14 Film Fare Awards 2012, a runaway hit.
Born to a Spanish mother and English father, Beatty possesses Spanish and English citizenship and has relatives scattered throughout the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, and Spain. He has created, written, developed, and directed movies and serials for Spanish and English-language audiences through Soul Pictures, the company he founded in 2011. He is currently in pre-production with the film feature Esteparius and in development Cold Love, Hunch, and The Last Rock Live. Also, he creates memorable visual concepts for music clips, teasers, shorts, and commercials.
Moreover, Beatty is presently writing an English-language adapted screenplay of the novel "The Infinite Machine" for Versus Entertainment - a story profiling the foundation of the crypto platform Ethereum, which explores why human freedom requires a global decentralized economy.
Beatty closely collaborates with acclaimed figures in the film business industry in an effort to help other filmmakers realize their film projects complementing the financing of international productions with the highest tax rebates in the world through his vast network of investors.
