About James

I'm a football coach by trade, Coaching youth thru Junior College. Five years ago I started writing, I didn't know what I was doing. I just wrote. My first script was about a guy who was a lawyer who worked at a big time law firm in Los Angeles. The script was good. I showed it to a few friends and they loved it. Thinking I was on to something I went on the internet to look at some sample scripts to see how mine compared to others. I was shocked to find out that my work wasn't even close. I didn't know about a logline or dialogue. I did write in the action line even if I didn't know what an action line was. (LOL) I didn't have any external or internal loglines where scenes we're being filmed.. I told myself I need some technical help in format and writing in industry standards. I enrolled at LA City College for my first screen writers course and as you know it Covid hit and classes were cancelled. Thanks to all those men and women who love to be on YouTube! I've picked up some much needed information by watching many of the writing tutorials and found my niche. Today I'm sharpening my craft so I can get a script produced and into production. Only time will tell, I thank Stage 32 for a chance to network on their platform to meet with like minded writers like myself.

Unique traits: A great since of humor, funny and I'm a sports fan. I live in LA, CA and all I can say about it is you need a lot of luck and drive to make it happen in the TV and Film industry. I'm ready for it!!!
