Omar reunites with his newlywed wife Luna in LA which is the start of a crazy American week with love, friendship, chaotic party prep, the hunt for hitmen’s and trip to Tijuana to get party snacks.

Omar and Luna are newlyweds and they got married in Mexico a few months earlier. Omar works at a local restaurant as a chef and is a cool guy in his 30s that enjoys life with friends. Luna a girl in her 30s, working as an accountant will now reunite with Omar in Los Angeles. Omar prepares to pick up Luna by himself and have a romantic evening, but his best friend Diego has other plans. He surprises Omar and Luna with a big crew of friends and a Mariachi band, which turns the airport pickup into a chaotic surprise for them and it continues throughout the evening.

Luna gets to know their elderly neighbor Anita and they create a close friendship. One day when Anita is out, her grandson Robert and his best friend Joe visits her. Robert and Joe work at a Paint shop and they are also running a motorcycle club. Their visit to Anita creates several funny chain events. Luna hears their choppers and records their conversation outside of Anita’s balcony. She translates the recording on the internet to Spanish and gets shocked. She contacts Omar that their neighbor Anita might be killed by two biker hitmen. Omar doubts but takes help from his good friend Miguel knowing he is not the right person for the job. Miguel owner of a restaurant at the same shopping mall as Omar decides to help him and surprise both hitmen’s.

Miguel acts cool but is extremely nervous and train for the task with a toy gun. Luna doesn’t want to take any chances and takes Anita on a leisure trip to Tijuana to get some sweets for the party. For this Luna ask help from her University friend Rita who lives in Tijuana. What she doesn’t know is that Rita has become the leader of her husband’s drug cartel. Rita’s mobile is tapped and the Mexican police and notify DEA of a major drug deal. DEA agents follow Luna and Anita to Mexico.

In parallel, the preparations for Omar’s and Luna’s party is handled by Kareem. Kareem is a native American grown up in a Los Angeles suburb but prefers to speak English with a Spanish accent. He is usually an incredibly lucky guy but since some time back his luck has turned and he is getting into many accidents. Omar and Luna get a taste of his bad luck when visiting Kareem for a party walkthrough. They end up at the police station with Kareem and his staff. Omar is unsure if they will be able to have the party.

After the upside-down trip to Tijuana, Luna and Anita make it back to the United States with help from two understanding DEA agents. Miguel’s surprise on the hitmen’s is solved. As Miguel’s surprise them Joe faints and all of them get wet in their pants. When Robert takes off his helmet and sunglasses and turns around, he and Miguel gets a big surprise since they are childhood friends.

The party night at Kareem’s restaurant starts off well and the mood is good. But Kareem with his bad luck manages to create chaos and it all ends up in more chaos with the police arrive and dissolve the party since a woman that’s out with her dog saw Miguel point a toy gun towards the guest as he was on his way to show how he had dismantled the “hitmen’s” Robert and Joe. The party evening is saved by Robert and Miguel’s childhood friend, the police captain Olson.

The day after the party Omar and Luna are on their way to their honey weekend when Omar decides to quickly visit Kareem to help him remove the curse by finding the woman starting it. But the effort of removing the curse almost cost them their lives since they accidentally provoke the woman’s husband and son. After getting beaten and paying a fee they succeed to remove the curse on Kareem.

Omar and Luna barely make it on time for their flight at LAX. Omar needs an urgent visit to the restroom and enters the wrong gate when rushing out and the flight attendants don’t notice this since everybody is in hurry. Omar and Luna see each other in two different airplanes and Luna's airplane is starting to move out to the runway. The chaos in both the airplanes are a fact and Omar and Luna thrown out of LAX and celebrates their weekend locally.

Robert finds love with a mature woman he met at a club. Kareem reunite with his girlfriend and wins bigtime on a scratch card and rewards the beggar woman.
