Daniel McConnell

Local Washingtonian filmmaker, musician and artist. I've recently graduated with my Bachelor's degree in film and am looking for my start. I'm particularly focused towards post-production aspects, such as film editing, sound design, sound editing, foley artistry, musical composition and scoring, but I also see myself putting my talents towards art direction and production design. I gravitate towards stories and ideas that are both dark and fun, as that is the exact kind of sensibility I put into my own work. My philosophy towards story telling is that "As miserable, dark, and dreary as life may be, a much as it may be devoid of meaning, you can still find joy in the nothing. Life sucks, but that's okay".
