About Stephanie

Stephanie Brandolini hails from Vancouver, Canada and always felt out of place in the “real world”, preferring the worlds of fantasy stories and her own imagination. Unfortunately, her imagination turned into a prison of her own making when she developed a severe eating disorder that nearly took her life. Overcoming this made her fascinated with psychology and spirituality which she expresses through characters overcoming adversity in fantastical ways.

A writer with a gift for fantasy world building, Stephanie sees story as a way to discover ourselves and find resonant connection through character.

Stephanie’s fantasy drama pilot, TRANSCENDENT SHADOWS, has placed in Austin Film Festival, ScreenCraft’s Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Launch Pad's Pilot Competitions and her magical realism drama feature, ASTRAL WITCH, is in-development with Poundcake Productions.

Stephanie knows what it’s like to hit rock bottom and rise from it, coming full circle from one who consumed stories to one who now creates them.

She also loves video editing, creating fun basic effects and awesome titles!
