About Martin

Martin Rutegard was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1979 and got his interest in movies at an early age. Studied film theory for a year at the university of Örebro in Sweden. In his final exam he had the leading part in a short movie called Konstnären where he won a prize for best leading actor. He has had small roles in short, feature films and commercials.
Martin and his twin brother Christian Rutegård made a short film in 2014 about heresy in the 18th century. The title is The Tale of the Witch, The Boy and the Soldier. The film won best picture Oktober 2015 at the Laiffa Film Festival in Hollywood.
