About Julio

Proud husband and father of two amazing kids, who believes in the importance of love, which always seems to find its way into the heart of my storytelling. After a modest run of success and awards with my first short film Repentance, the company I co-founded, HollyHood Productions, sold its first feature film RELEASE, which is now streaming on UMC. My first feature script, THE PHENOM, placed as a finalist in both the Screencraft Fellowship competition and the Stage 32 Drama competition. The script received a "strong recommend" from both the Screencraft and the WeScreenplay competitions. A 2 time BRIO award winner through the Bronx Council on the Arts, I have a passion for storytelling and craft, and I am enjoying every moment of this ride called life. I look forward to learning and connecting with like minded creators and anyone in need of inspiration. I am currently developing several projects in various stages of production.
