My name is Itai Adam Vagner. I'm an Israeli-American actor, singer, writer and all around funny dude based in NYC. I started out as a stand-up comedian but have since expanded into acting and screenwriting. I wrote several TV pilots including a Historical miniseries called ANSHEL (Semifinalist, Vail Festival Screenplay Competition 2023), the Dramedy THE LAUGHING STOCK (Semifinalist, Stage 32 TV Comedy Screenwriting Contest 2022), and most recently the Satirical Murder Mystery HUNDRED ACRE NOIR. I'm hoping to use this platform to network with different people, get my projects financed, and learn some new skills as an artist in the industry.
HUNDRED ACRE NOIR Budget: $0 - $100K | Mystery ⋄ Comedy Private Detective Poo is pulled out of retirement to investigate the murder of his best friend Chris Robin, a mystery that will forever change everyone's lives in Hundred Acre City. Think Only Murders in the Building meets Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It's based on characters from Winnie the Pooh.
ANSHEL Budget: $100K - $1M | Historical ⋄ Drama The untold true story of a visionary (and controversial) man, who went from a Romanian Hasidic shepherd boy to the founder of the Israeli Diamond Industry. Told through the eyes of his granddaughter. Think Uncut Gems meets Unorthodox. Co-written with Nurit Asher Vagner.
THE LAUGHING STOCK Budget: $0 - $100K | Drama ⋄ Comedy An autistic college student runs a comedy club with his hilariously diverse classmates as he balances life, friends, and school. Think 'Community' meets 'I'm Dying Up Here'.
