"Creativity in all its forms is the life-blood of the soul. It keeps us reaching for the highest within."
After being laid-off from teaching art during the pandemic, I began to explore themes of women who struggle when forced to make unexpected life transitions. Having been an advertising designer, copywriter, artist, and most recently theatrical costume designer, I have used my hands to create things my entire life. My goal as a writer is to bring women centric, workplace dramedies to the forefront of TV. Ace of Trades, Over The Edge and Barre None are my workplace dramedies, while Empty Nesters: Italian Insurrection is a seasoned woman romcom feature.
Barre None Drama ⋄ Comedy While trying to stage an original ballet and save her studio, a financially-strapped aging ballerina takes a social media/fitness guru as a partner - resulting in the two women competing for clients and the love of the Yoga master.
Ace Of Trades Drama ⋄ Comedy Financially desperate after being framed and blacklisted, a top fashion designer must get her glamorous hands dirty and make her late father’s trade school a fashionable career option - while attempting to clear her name in fashion and survive in her newfound Gulag of a workplace.
Over The Edge Drama ⋄ Comedy After leaving her cheating well-to-do husband, an ex-graphic designer uses her divorce settlement to redesign her life and open an edgy greeting card design studio and store. When her ex opens a competing card studio she must ramp up her edgy and take her studio Over The Edge!
