In 2019 singer/songwriter Sadie Jemmett wrote the song ‘Don’t Silence Me’ for Mhairi upon hearing of a sexual assault that happened to Mhairi at the beginning of her career in Paris, by a well known French director. Mhairi starred in and produced the music video for the song, which features over 45 women, the majority of whom are survivors of sexual assault, including survivors of Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein and Donald Trump. Mhairi took the video on tour and held screenings and panel discussions around the Me Too movement in Los Angeles, London, Paris and Glasgow.
