Following the death of his Astronomy obsessed kid brother, a troubled man plans to take his own life during a Comet sighting at a campsite retreat. But a clumsy ex-teacher and a chance encounter with love might get in the way.
SYNOPSIS:
The Allington Logistical Adventurist Society is a comedic and romantic drama of a similar style to the works of Wes Anderson. A mid life crisis spurs Laurence Clark on to form Atlas; a haphazard campsite retreat attracting a range of damaged Nature and Astronomy enthusiasts for a weekend of healing, all eager to see the largest and closest comet to pass by Earth since records began.
Elliot Beck hates stars. Elliot Beck hates adventure. Elliot Beck hates healing. But he needs it, badly. Following the tragic death of his kid brother, who he was meant to be bringing to this event, his suicidal plans may have just one chance of failure: Bryony Stone. She likes him. But that, according to Elliot Beck, is inappropriate. Can love conquer the plans of death?
