Colin Larsen is a gifted and creative Cinematographer based on the Gold Coast with extensive experience in film and television.
His work has taken him overseas and throughout Australia. His professional experience include Outside Broadcast, Reality TV, Documentaries, Travel Series, Music Clips, Feature Films, TV series, Short films, Commercials, Corporate videos.
As a lad, Colin was forever filming on a super 8 and what ever else he could get his hands on at the time and now, many years later, is extremely skilled with all cameras.
Colin fuses cutting edge technologies with traditional film methods, offering the best of both worlds. Accomplished in lighting, shadow manipulation and advanced camera techniques, together with his understanding of story telling, his work shines out as a testimonial to his dedication and passion for excellence.
A highly developed work ethic and a brilliant team player, Colin has worked closely with some of Australia’s best film crews.
Colin keeps busy year round working as a Cameraman on specialized Outside Broadcast events here in Australia and USA, (airing on Fox Sports), Reality TV and Cinematographer for a travel series filming in exotic locations around the world - The series has been screened on the Discovery HD Channel and recently channel 9 Australia for Lin Sutherland called “Travel Wild TV”.
Colin also works as a DOP/Editor on successful independent music clips and short films, he is looking to feature films and TV series as a cameraman.
