Tianwei Wang

Tianwei Wang is a Chinese director and writer living in Los Angeles. She’s fluent in German, English, and Mandarin, and she has written scripts and acted in all three languages. In 2015, Tianwei graduated from LMU with a master's in Film and TV production. Tianwei has written and directed ten short films. Each of the films is focused on underrepresented communities, especially Asian immigrants. Her thesis short, “My Spicy Grandma,” won numerous awards. In 2019, she wrote and directed her feature debut, “Prime Angel,” a Sci-fi Action thriller. It was released in China and broke the box office for Sci-fi streaming content.
