Like most writers, all of my works somehow stem from past experiences, and I have oodles. However, finding the breaks in my life proves challenging. Still, my mind works overtime in systematically finding events from my own life, as well as those around me to enhance the experience for others.
A book I had written for a Kickstarter project was cancelled a few days after being posted, not for fear of failure; but for fear of success and opening my wounds in front of the world. What I plan on doing is incandescently expose the experience more like the Wizard of Oz who stands safely behind the curtain, out of plain site, so the audience can enjoy the event rather than the spectacle.

Through my challenges, films relay to a dying girl who rises far beyond what she thought possible; a young man who was raised into thinking his family's way of survival was the only way, until he found love; a single mother with a unique job title as an exotic dancer whose most important factor is raising her daughter through whatever means necessary. All of these stories somehow relate to my own real life circumstances, and there are plenty more where these came from. But that isn't the most important prospect here. What's most important is getting across that everyone has struggles, great and small, and we all must work through them in order to grow and share those experiences, hoping it reflects some sort of hope for others as they make their own ways.
Learning is the most important reason to live. And living creates experience. Experience promotes learning... and so on.
Perhaps this is most important to me because of the amnesia, previously being a homeless single mother, or perhaps being a successful woman in today's world who now owns her own condo and works toward creating her own company. I have the corner market on hope, and I want to share it with others. What better way than to show them through the eyes of characters they grow to love?
For anyone who dares read my loglines, etc, and searches for someone with a driven passion to continuously move forward, I can't think of a more impacting method than to say to you, "Here I am. What will we do today?"
