About Chantelle

Chantelle Humphrey is a Toronto based producer. Humphrey has worked in film and television since 2015, most recently working as an assistant production manager on projects including CBS’ Rabbit Hole, New Line Cinema’s 8 Bit Christmas, CBS’ The Lost Symbol, and eOne’s Feudal. Previously, she worked as a producer’s assistant on projects including The Umbrella Academy, Stephen King’s IT and IT2, and Miss Sloane, among others.

In 2017, Humphrey produced the award nominated short Blue Collar Betts and served as an associate producer on an indie feature, The Manhattan Project. In 2019, Humphrey co-founded her production company Seagull & Starfish Productions Inc. (SSP Inc.) with producing partner, Luke Humphrey. Teething, an award winning short film and recipient of the Bell Media Shorts to Features Program, was the first title under the SSP Inc. banner and is available on CRAVE. Most recently, Humphrey produced horror short film, In the Dark, which will be participating in the 2022/2023 festival season.
