About Bill

I am a writer with lifelong disability. My BA is in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing at San Francisco State University. I have a Masters in Library and Information from the University of California, Berkeley. I have taught, performed, and directed extensive Readers Theatre and I have had my plays produced in colleges and community theaters.

I was an actor/co-writer for "PH*reaks, the hidden history of people with disabilities" for the Mark Taper Forum's Other Voices project. I was an ex-Equity actor from that, and I was the humor commentator on the unsold pilot for One Step Ahead, a newsmagazine program for and about persons with disabilities.

I have performed in over fifty productions at college and community theatres over the years. I once did summer stock in Cape Cod. For a time, I was a camera director of small market television programs.

So far, I have written one fantasy novel, "Farlop Finds a Way;" screenplays, "Oddbody," "Sherlock Holmes and the Banished Bard;” serial teleplay pilots, "The Cayatoga Citizen," "Ghost Trolley;" as well as a two-hour television pilot, “Moonglow Christmas Murder: The Mysteries of Marble and MacKay #1,)
