I started in the industry in 2013 after a number of years in music recording studios. Since then I have learned the craft of location audio working on broadcast TV, reality TV, documentary film, and feature narratives. I have had the pleasure of working with some amazing crews on some truly wonderful shows and have been mentored by some even more amazing mixers and engineers. I do try to keep up in my field researching new tech and techniques and strive to always be learning something new. I keep an inventory of the latest gear to make sure I always have the right options for my clients and can work quickly for them while capturing the best audio quality. I'd like to think my clients hire me not only for my ability to capture quality audio but for, and maybe most importantly, my ability to adapt and improvise when "it all goes wrong". I feel that many people can hold a microphone and press record but few people truly enjoy it; I truly do.
