I did a year of film school and basically got sidetracked to support my film ambitions with a technology career which turned into a full time job. 15 years later, I realized I needed to return to my passion: film. I was looking to adapt a true story and hire a screenwriter but couldn't find anyone that shared my purpose for the project. I taught myself to write and surprised myself, placing well in competitions the past five years. I've written several shorts, features and converted a feature into a television pilot which is the work I'm most proud of. Overall, my focus is to bring little known stories from my cultural history from India's Punjab to a wider audience through film and television.
