Jenmary Day is a multi-talented artist, a musical soloist, actress, songwriter & producer. Jenmary Day’s work combines sounds from salsa, reggae, jazz, calypso and rhythm & blues. The fusions of these different musical genres are the influence which produces extraordinary, strong and mesmerizing soulful sounds, which are the identity of this artist that derive from her Caribbean roots & personal love for the arts.
Jenmary Day has been part of many international presentations, such participations include invitations to: Casa de Teatro in the Dominican Republic, The International Caribbean Maya Festival in Quintana Roo, Islas Mujeres Festival Cancun Mexico, Jazz Festival in Montreal Canada and the Cultural Festival Havana Cuba. Jenmary Day has also worked with numerous organizations to promote awareness for the arts; such participation includes her opening act for the Latin Musical benefit sponsored by New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg. This artist also works closely with humanitarian causes for relief help as well. Jenmary Day share her talents and gave a helpful hand in which she show her humanity, to the victims of the earthquake that affected Pisco, Peru. This artist did an appearance in the Dominican Telethon to combat child hunger and poverty in the Dominican Republic. Her participation at the Lovinger Theatre at Lehman College, for the Voces Amarillas Concert for better education for the Dominican Republic proved her love for a better world.
As an actress Jenmary Day is a member of the Hola Hispanic Organization of the Latin actors. She currently participates in the Navarrete Theatre, La Tea Theatre and Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre.
