A romantic action-comedy date musical about a woman who, in her quest for True Love and her Hero of True Romance, refuses to be merely decorative when it comes to living her life.

SYNOPSIS:

Forget being merely decorative, this musical’s about Roxane of Bergerac (the ‘It’ girl of Paris, France) and her quest for her Hero of True Romance while under the watchful eyes of le Comte de Guiche, her Duenna, and above all her cousin Cyrano. Of Christian de Neuvillette (of whom she’s convinced IS that hero: handsome, romantic, witty, heroic), when 3 out of 4 won’t cut it in Roxane’s world, he and her cousin team up in a letter-writing scheme that pays off handsomely for Christian (and not too shabbily for Cyrano, either!). But when the company of cadets helmed by le Comte de Guiche are called away to Arras on Roxane and Christian’s wedding night (what, no Wedding Smoochfest?!?), a trail of eloquently romantic snail mail still makes it to Roxane twice each day (and thrice on Sundays!) — until she can’t help herself and somehow slips past enemy lines to meet him.
