SYNOPSIS:

Residuum follows one family, fractured and broken, yet hanging together like the beautiful Japanese art of Kintsugi. Our protagonists are a married couple, Sergeant Sarandeep and Maya Gil, who are trying to repair their lives from the fallout of Sergeant Gil’s tour. They serve as a dichotomy of quitting and persevering. The patriarch is Sergeant Sarandeep Gil. Once a young and proud man, he has come back as a shell of himself haunted by ghosts from his past while he tries to salvage his marriage and prove his worth as a father. The matriarch of our family is Maya Gil, who by all estimates is a fierce woman supporting her entire family. She yearns for the man she loves to return to her. However she is no fool, and her intuition serves her to know that Sarandeep is keeping certain secrets from her, causing her and their entire family a great deal of pain.
