About Bees

Conrad Warre: bandleader of the Boston-based acid-blues & punk jazz outfit "Bees Deluxe" and principal composer. Originally a freelance musician and journalist for Melody Maker, Record Mirror and Sounds in London, Warre has toured around Europe with The English Beat, The Joe Jackson Band, the Specials, and the Selector. He moved to NY and then to Boston where he became Production Director for Rykodisc working for David Bowie, Yoko Ono and Frank Zappa, and was responsible for bringing Bob Mould's band Sugar to Rykodisc.

Unique traits: English (can deliver multiple UK accents) speaks French (w. Parisian accent), musical performer with extensive roadwork experience. Has composed and released several independent music albums. Accomplished Guitar player (often compared favorably to Knopfler, Freddie King and Hendrix). Perfect stand in for Jeremy Irons and has stage, film and TV experience.
