Good day my fellow stage 32's.... 32ers?.... 32 community? Well I'm here because I want to post about a worry that is always in the back of my mind. That worry is that things won't work out in my favor. I know this industry is quite brutal which I'm used to since the military community I was a part of was very cut throat. I'm just worried that after graduating college with my degree in Cinema and Television I'll have nothing to show for it. I'm sure that this is just pregame jitters. What has everyone done to combat these worries and what sort of opportunities should I really be going for? I have an internship that is about to finish but I don't think that is enough because I didn't really have a chance to prove my mettle. I'm looking for a new internship for the fall and or spring on handshake. I just want to have a shot to join this tremendous community and make my mark. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

My name is Neal Andrews and I am very excited that I found this community. I'm eager to dive right in and start meeting and networking with others. I am about to start my final year at Regent University in August of this year. I will be graduating with my bachelors degree. I have worked on several student film sets as a Grip, 2nd Assistant Director, Producer, Writer, and Director. Chasing down a career in this industry has been a lifelong goal and I wholeheartedly intend to see it through.
