About Richard

A member of SPA (Screen Producers Australia), Richard writes and produces content for Peregrine Productions (Australia).

He produced the short film CLAP, starring Molly Broadstock (ABCs Mustangs FC) and Gemma Chua-Tran (Netflix's Heartbreak High). CLAP had its World Premiere at Flickerfest, Sydney. At the Australian Women’s Film Festival 2021, CLAP won 5 awards including Best Film and Best Drama. It was also nominated for Best World Short and Best Actor at the Soho International Film Festival (NYC).

His short film HANGRY, starring David Gannon (Baz Luhrmann's Elvis) and Charlotte Nicdao (Apple's Mythic Quest) won him Best World Short at the Soho International Film Festival (NYC) and Best Screenplay and Foreign Film at the Marietta Film Festival (Atlanta).

He produced the True Crime podcast KILLING PHAR LAP - A FORENSIC INVESTIGATION, with Kerry Negara, based on the iconic racehorse. This ground breaking podcast received a nomination for Best True Crime Podcast at the Australian Podcast Awards 2021.

His feature documentary COMMEDIA DELL’ ARTE: THE STORY THE STYLE, acquired distribution by Films Media Group (USA) and became a best seller.

Richard also co-hosts the popular film review podcast FILM MAKER / FILM WATCHER, which is embarking on its 5th Season. It reached No.1 on the Australian Apple Podcast Charts in the Film/TV category and has been listened to in over 67 Countries.

Currently, Richard is in production on a 6 part animated adult animation comedy series. He also has several feature films and television series he has co-written, in development.
