Keshia Rucker

Unique, creative, and different is how I would describe myself, as a writer & director. Through my years of learning about the filming industry, I’ve written and directed a few short films, one titled SHHH, & most recently BREATHE. I have also directed and shot a few music videos, so I am very versatile. Focusing on my career as a writer and director inspired me to move from Upstate NY to Los Angeles, CA in December of 2020 and it was a big move, not only because I made the moved in the middle of a pandemic, but that I moved on my own where I have no family close to me, and then I thought; Taking chances and risks is what has to be done in order to do make it in this industry. Am I right? I remember one day I said to someone, “you know I’m afraid of heights, but I’ll will go skydiving, and I don’t like vegetables except corn.” They would chuckle and reply, “That’s so confusing.” Yeah, I say that about myself to, but if I’m sure about anything in my life it’s being a writer & a director.
