Ray Bussard

I currently live in Seattle, Washington and work for the LA Opera. I'm a published author of eleven books and an eBook. I've published all of them within the last five years, so I've been quite prolific. My books are two musicals, Romeo and Juliet, the Film Musical, and Twelfth Night, the Film Musical...three humor books--A Beastiary (Sort Of) and Getting My Freak On (a collection of my standup comedy routines), and Lyrics Humourous...four poetry books, Call & Response, Path of Light, Exaltation, and a compilation of all three of those in The Homecoming, Poems & Illustrations...a fantasy role-playing, strategic board game/book, titled Gurgurtha, The Epic Quest... a compilation of 63 of my songs titled, Songs, and an eBook-- Miranda, the Good Luck Angel, soon to be a children's picture book with water-color illustrations.

Forthcoming books will be a collection of short stories titled, Strange Brew, a humorous book of fairytales titled, Wretched Rhymes and several film projects--a screenplay of Cleopatra, a film musical called The Regretful Robot, a film trilogy that bridges The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings tales, and finally a horror eBook and film script titled Korboy, the Krazed Killer.

I'm skilled in writing poetry, songwriting, screenplays, humor, game design and illustrations. I am open for hire in any of these categories or for consultations/critiques, and my fee is negotiable.
