About Josep

I am a Spanish screenwriter and director working between LA and Spain.

In my five years of professional experience I have written and directed several multi-award winning short films around the world.
I currently have two feature films in development as co-writer and director, and a series in the writing process.

At the same time I have worked as assistant director on feature films and short films.

My philosophy: A film is like life, it has its protagonist, allies and enemies. A beginning in which something happens that takes you in a direction, plots and characters that appear and disappear until you reach a fade to black ending. If the movie was good, you will always remember it.

Short by Escandalo Films Director and screenwriter In the midst of the Spanish Civil War, Eduardo, a 40-year-old Republican, hides in his house his friend Jaime, a journalist accused of killing a member of 'la guardia'. This act puts Eduardo and his family in imminent danger.
