A novelist discovers he was a real-life hero in the 19th century Western he's writing when he's transported into the story to save a mysterious beauty stranded in a remote forest.

SYNOPSIS:

BARRY, a small-time writer, collaborates on a Western with MERLE MAYHEM, a famous horror novelist. After Merle suddenly dies at his remote farmhouse, Barry continues to secretly work on the story. Though stunned when he inherits Merle’s farm, Barry gladly moves in and relishes the idyllic writing spot. When Merle’s manager finds out about the unfinished story he hires Barry to summarize it.Barry gets premonitions about a nearby glen that has prisms on its trees. The prism light is a portal to the past where the Western exists and that Barry was the hero.
