SYNOPSIS:

In 1888 London, prostitutes living in the city's poor and decrepit East End are being murdered by a killer who has come to be known as Jack the Ripper. Even with the killer's young girl accomplice with him, the police are still unable to catch the fiend. The 12-year-old son of a murdered prostitute, Albert Fisher, has a near death confrontation with the Ripper one night, leaving behind a strange-looking token. Joining several children from an orphanage, Albert goes to church, where he spots the mysterious girl, sitting with three members of her equally mysterious family... including the infamous serial killer. Albert starts to panic when the token he's carrying begins to sparkle. Albert is soon drawn into a world of danger, deception, love, and strange, unfathomable technology that he simply cannot ignore. How far would you go to find your mother's killer...?
