Rebecca James

Rebecca (Bec) James, I am a mature musical theatre (book and lyrics) and screen writer.

I studied writing and producing at QPIX where I worked on three short films and won the Kodak TVS Award for Best script. I also studied directing at Nida (short course).

Prior to writing, I was a global solo backpacker, an international marketer of hospitals and power tools in Canada, then a real estate entrepreneur. I am also a qualified graphic designer, have taught mindfulness meditation and am a gifted psychic/medium.

Currently, I am focused on writing leading edge features and musical theatre works for global markets.

I live in Paddington, QLD with my partner Cam and my dog/writing assistant, Zebedee.

All works are written to a professional level, are original with 4-5 never-before seen elements and uplifting. All scripts are visually spectacular with emotional depth and humorous elements.
