Trömböczki Napsugár

My name means Sunshine in direct translation, both a blessing and a curse. Just like a sun on a kid's drawing, I tend to choose many ways to shine at once. Running different professions used to bother me, because I felt like I should choose one - but now I came to terms with the fact, that my nature is to be satisfied when i have the opportunity to do whatever I am most interested in. My main directions are Puppetry and applied theater, and I am getting back to writing, after creating my first TV puppet show for families (working on the second season, shh...). As a freelancer, independent artist in eastern Europe, I'm usually an overall creator behind my works, but I really enjoy working with a bigger crew, and doing my part as well. I'd like to take more acting jobs too, but I am better on camera that the stage (and I did not figure out a way to break into the Hungarian film industry...). Also, I am terrible at auditions...
I like to work with non-professional actors, our community theater piece premiered last October. Social Karaoke was created with six people from different generations and backgrounds, and we based the performance completely on the participant's stories and ideas.
