Ahmad Al Khalil is a Palestinian/Lebanese, Films/Documentaries/ theater director and scriptwriter based in London.
Ahmad started his successful career while he was at the second year at Notre Dame University in Beirut his first short documentary “The Stranger” that he directed and filmed was a push for him after it was screened in various in several film festivals between Lebanon and Dubai. After that he started working in theater in the directing department until he directed his first contemporary play “In-between Chains” in collaboration with talented deaf dancers. Which it was performed in several theatres in Lebanon and interviewed with many TV shows and magazines. I have directed two other plays dancing performance as well. His latest short film “Saja, Black Suits You” has a massive success after it was screened in several film festivals worldwide and it was selected in Cannes film festival in 2018.
I'm looking forward to expand my career in many different ways in the coming years, all in aim to share my passion and talent with the world.
He worked in different platforms between tv and cinema with different positions but meanly in the directing department.
Ahmad has work in several Lebanese, Egyptian, Middle East and London production companies such as: Eagle Films, Synergy Films, Abbout, Highendfilms, New Century, Sel Media, Charisma, VIP Films and NUmedia.
Ahmad and S.M.C worked together on several projects, their friendship became stronger. After Ahmad’s grandma passed way recently, S.M.C called Ahmad and told him about Leah’s new song “The Space He Left” which it was the perfect moment for Ahmad to create a special idea about a late grandparents. I believe that art should come from the heart to give a piece of art and if comes with an experience as well it will be magical.
