Miri Hunter Haruach, is an actor, independent scholar, poet and singer/songwriter. Her poetry has been published in VISIONS, the ILIAD PRESS. The themes of her poetry include the search for love (Divine and Human), the dance as an expression of Divine and Human connection and the longing for this connection. Her first collection of poetry entitled "Dancing with the Wind" was published in 2010.
She has been a featured poet in Awakened Woman magazine. Other writings have appeared in Bridges: A Journal for Jewish Feminists (2001,2011), She is Everywhere, an anthology of women’s spirituality (2005). She was a featured writer in the 2009 Emerging Voices program sponsored by the New Short Fiction Series.
She has 2 CD's of original music, "Harvest of the Heart" ,1999 and "The Ways of Love" 2006. She is currently in pre-production for her next CD entitled “Temple of Love.”
Miri has toured nationally with her one woman performance piece “Grandmothers of the Universe." she continues to write and is working on her next one person show “Pregnancy Diaries," as well a poetry and short story collection.
