Asivhanzhi Mathaba

Asi Mathaba graduated from City Varsity Film School in Cape Town, South Africa, majoring in Directing and New York Film Academy course on Producing. After spending more than 15 years in the film and television industry Mathaba has managed to accrue the following credits on both the local South African and the International scene; - Youth FilmProject – SABC 1 (24 min x 24 short Films) - Aluta – International TV Drama in Pre – Production (48 min x 13 Eps) - Mopani – SABC 2 Drama in Post (24 min x 10 eps) - I Had It All – SABC 2 - Rivoningo season 1 to 7 – SABC 2 – Daily children show (24 min x 910 eps) - E – t v eKasi Stories ( 48 min x 9 TV movies)
- International Documentaries - “Solly Story” premired at Berlin Film Festival, - He then went on to make “Homesick” which showed at FESPACO: A Chinese-South African film collaboration. - Have also worked in countries such as Zimbabwe and Hong Kong.
