Su Hananel is an actor, screen writer developer and producer who's worked in TV, film, commercials and theater. She developed her interest in acting at a very young age. At 17, she discovered the great American acting masters (Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg and Sanford Meisner) by training with AADA alumni and ACE-winner actor, Leonardo Torres Vilar. After getting her bachelor degree in Journalism, she worked at a newspaper for five years before deciding to pursue acting professionally. She moved to LA in 2015 and was coached by Barbara Lee Bragg, Christine Dunford, Derek Reid and Michelle Danner. During her time there, she also produced a webseries and was part of the production team for two short films directed by Ina Rose, one of which was selected to be part of Cannes in 2017. Going back to LA is definitely in her plans. She's currently developing a female-driven TV comedy for international streaming platforms with her creative partner in Peru. The project won a grant from the Peruvian government and was selected to participate in the Filmarket Online Pitchbox (2020) and at the prestigious Guadalajara Film Festival (2021), winning two prizes.
