Rogers Atukunda

I'm a journalist and budding filmmaker.

I have worked for major news outlets in Uganda like Red Pepper Publications & The Onion as well as The Observer.

I co-founded two online news websites The Insider Uganda and edge.ug.

My film career started at Makerere University in 2010. I started off as a volunteer at Nyati Motion Pictures, Kampala Uganda: Nyati Motion Pictures is a Uganda based Film and Adverts production Company.

The films I made (Me&Myself), wrote and produced (Breaking The Mesh) or worked on as an Assistant Director (Hang Out) have won awards.
