I've been creating stories since I was a kid- especially in my head, as all the greats have done. I was 11 when I created my first story, and I can't remember the details but the classmates who hated me actually liked it. Not that I cared, but it was the begging of a skill I didn't realize I had and wouldn't take seriously enough to cultivate until my twenties - with Star Wars Fanfiction.

Most of my skill was self-taught and learn by watching others, up until I went to NYU. Didn't learn as much from my classes that I didn't know, but I couldn't say that out loud. Until now. Oops. Sorry not sorry. I have a long way to go to continue teaching myself how to take the usefulness I acquired and build upon it, and screenwriting is a craft that I plan to use as a way to become a better storyteller overall.
