Two Black teens form an unexpected bond in a small-town park—until one kiss changes everything.
SYNOPSIS:
In a quiet small-town park, two Black teenagers—Jayden, a reserved artist, and Marcus, a charismatic basketball player—literally bump into each other, sparking a connection neither of them saw coming. As the days pass, what begins as an awkward encounter grows into a quiet friendship built on sketchbooks, music, and unexpected vulnerability.
Their bond deepens over shared afternoons until one day, a spontaneous kiss changes everything. Caught off guard by the intensity of their feelings and the fear that follows, they drift apart. But the space between them only makes the pull stronger.
Weeks later, they meet again—this time with honesty, courage, and the promise of something real.
The Days Between is a tender coming-of-age short film about self-discovery, first love, and the bravery it takes to choose connection even when you're afraid.
