When a devoted, life-affirming student of a dissipated existential ethics professor screws up his meticulously orchestrated suicide, she vows to revive his desire to live - or help him do it right.
SYNOPSIS:
Infamous bon vivant and pro-suicide advocate Professor Edmund Harold Byrne vows to ‘end it with a bang’ after one last bacchanalian orgy. But with gun to head, the untimely arrival of his devoted, suicide survivor student, Goldie Gilmour, causes him to balk, leaving him with a superficial head wound. At once besieged by zealous anti-choice protesters and a sensationalist media, Edmund defends his right to die while Goldie strives to rekindle his desire to live. But after a failed tryst meant to invigorate his life, Edmund again puts gun to head, this time suffering a stress-related stroke. Now confined to an intensive care unit - for Edmund, the worst possible fate - he implores Goldie to swallow her pride and life-affirming convictions for an entirely outrageous ceremony of love, marriage, and a final, ballsy farewell.
A dark romantic comedy.

Hey Nate! Thanks for your time rating my loglines. Just saw them now. (I'm new to Stage 32 and there's so much going on that it's hard to keep up.) Curious - what is your criteria (in a nutshell) for rating a logline?
