SYNOPSIS:

Heaven is a big business operation with guardian angels carrying around laptop computers and pagers to keep tabs on their clients on earth. Normally, destiny for a client would be smooth sailing, unless you have DELBERT (a clumsy-accident prone angel) as your guardian angel. Delbert was promoted to guardian angel after sacrificing his life on earth for a bus load of kids. The BIG GUY gives Delbert his first assignment on earth. His assignment is KIRBY FALON a 22 yr. old college senior. Delbert tries to guide Kirby down destiny’s path, but for some reason, the path isn’t as smooth as he thought it would be. Delbert is supposed to help Kirby find his soul-mate JULIE MONROE. Julie is a pre-med student who shares a class with Kirby. Every time Delbert tries to make things work between them, things couldn’t get any worse. NICK (an egotistical angel) had the previous record of lives saved until Delbert entered the picture, and he makes Delbert’s job a little bit harder than usual. Nick convinces Delbert that he must go down to earth to help Kirby. Nick has fixed Delbert’s laptop computer so that anytime Delbert tries to help Kirby it actually does the opposite. Delbert appears to Kirby and explains that he is his guardian angel. Kirby is the only one who can see or hear Delbert. It takes Kirby awhile to get the hang of having a guardian angel appear to him, but he gets used to the idea when Delbert tells him he is going to set him up with Julie. Kirby tells his roommate DAVE, a 10th year slacker senior, about Delbert. Dave thinks Kirby is going crazy and seeks the help of SAMANTHA, a C+ average psychology student. They both are convinced that Kirby is delusional. Destiny is a very rocky and zany road for Kirby, but Delbert attempts to put it all together and smooth out love’s destiny in the Romantic-Comedy HEAVENLY BLESSED.
