Oka Aurora

In her 10 years of experience in Indonesia movie industry, Oka Aurora has written at least 14 feature films and 4 web series. Most of her work involves in supporting leading production companies, namely Rapi Films, Starvision Plus, Mulitivision Plus, Mizan Pictures, and MD Entertainment.

She was also involved as the scriptwriter of the first colossal musical movie production, relating to Marching Band. The aforementioned work regarded Oka her first award from Festival Film Bandung -a nationwide film festival.

Oka was also involved in the creation of and the first ever web series launched by Maxstream TV, an OTT streaming platform by Telkomsel, namely Cerita Dokter Cinta and Negeri 5 Menara.

Whilst Cerita Dokter Cinta (Stories of a Love Doctor) concentrates on medical drama, the series of Negeri 5 Menara (The Land of Five Towers) is an adaptation of a national best selling novel. Both series -Cerita Dokter Cinta and Negeri 5 Menara- reman highest viewing in Maxstream.

She was also the scriptwriter of Layangan Putus, a WeTV adaptation series. In 2 days after launch, the series went viral in various social media platform, establishing position as WeTV most popular and highest rated.

Although mainly writing for movies and web series, delivers story concepts to content/streaming services, and focusing on original series, Oka is also actively engaging as speakers in local and national events. She was one of the speakers in BEKRAF Writerpreneur - a national project on developing writers entrepreneurial skills- and sharing her knowledge in sessions around the country.

Last but not least, to participate in leveraging skills in the scriptwriting industry, Oka also regularly transfers her expertise to private audiences and aspired scriptwriters.
