About Amber

Amber Neukum is a writer, director, and actor from the San Francisco Bay Area, raised in a family of filmmakers dating back to her grandfather's work assistant directing episodes of "Happy Days." Amber found herself immersed in filmmaking at an early age, which ultimately led her to pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Television, Film & New Media Production at San Diego State University. Having worked for a variety of esteemed production companies and industry firms such as Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, Clevver Media, and Shelter PR, Amber brings extensive producing and networking experience to her production company, Juice Box Films. Amber and her two friends Hannah Alline & Sailor Larocque founded Juice Box Films during the pandemic as a way to have a creative outlet where they could produce quality films with women at the helm and in front of the lens. Amber made her directorial debut in 2019 with "Mary Maid" which was nominated for "Best Director", "Best Comedy Short" and "Best Actress" at the Atlanta Women's Film Festival. She currently has two shorts she directed that will be released in 2022: "Where is Bastian Acres?" & "Surfer Boy." She most recently directed a pilot for Cafecito Productions called "Blood Orange" and she is producing the proof of concept film, "Anemoia" with Juice Box Films director, Hannah Alline. When she's not on set, she works with film industry professionals to find a home in the Atlanta area, working as a top real estate agent with over $15M in sales since getting her license.
