In 1947, the United States Army tells the world a weather balloon crashed outside Roswell, New Mexico.
Meanwhile, an Army intelligence officer uncovers something the government will spend decades trying to bury—and a warning they’ll stop at nothing to keep us from hearing
SYNOPSIS:
As Major Jesse Marcel examines the first crash site outside Roswell, Captain Daniel Mercer is dispatched to a second, far more heavily secured recovery site in the New Mexico desert. There, the Army has already begun containing a discovery unlike anything Mercer has ever encountered.
Drawn deeper into an operation defined by secrecy, compartmentalization, and impossible decisions, Mercer is forced to confront what the military has recovered—and what it may mean for everyone beyond the perimeter.
First Contact is about Roswell, secrecy, and the terrible cost of... knowing too much.
