Shortly after the Snowden scandal, two nerdy intelligence analysts at the American Security Service find themselves permanently furloughed at a time they need their income the most. Feeling betrayed by the government, Daniel Hull and Trevor Jennings decide to intercept a pre-arranged spy exchange of $23 million happening in Bahrain.
