My name is Rahmeh Izzeldeen, I studied English language and literature and graduated in Yarmouk University, in my last semester I enrolled in a masters program in English Criticism. Apart of being fond of my major, I found myself thriving in cinema and film making. I started to get in film making in early 2019, I started with acting at first, but i was sure that I belonged behind the camera.
I started to learn film making with a small local team who were filming their graduation project, later on, we started taking small projects in filming commercials and short films. I found my self still needing more, so i managed to get a scholarship to The University of Cadiz in Spain in 2021, i took short films and it lasted for 7 months, i was the top of my class even though the rest of my class were more oriented for the have more academic experience.
When i came back to Jordan i took an internship by the jordan royal committee for films, the internship took place in the desert of WadiRum for a month, we filmed the famous British TV show SAS: who dare wins streamed on channel 4, while being there I tried to learn as much as possible by working with immaginarium for production, i took part in production management, location management, office work, and filming behind the scenes, but i was was mostly caught by production.
In 2022 I started a small business to achieve my goals in production, I called it Badawi media division, i roamed all the restaurants in Irbid offering making them a commercial for their establishment, and i landed on Steel Restaurant and Cafe rated 5 stars, but since i was new in the market they offered me a small budget but I made it work, I managed to write, direct, and manage production for a teaser and an Ad, which later on raised their sales by 40 precent and big media companies said it was one of a kind and a new addition to the commercials market in Irbid.
Later on, after having more stable grounds, I moved to Amman and made a commercial of a make up application called Olala.
Currently I’m working on making a reality show/documentary with the French embassy in Amman under the supervision of Jean Claude Mocik speaking about job hunting for women which will tackle the obstacles and real life events and experiences and the trailer will be ready by June 3rd.
