I'm a freelance screenwriter in Ohio, hoping to make connections with both the entertainment world at large and especially with other creative folks in the U.S. Midwest.
I've helped develop a variety of projects since 2016, including feature films for directors Jaime Osorio Marquez (The Squad, The Sacrifice) and James Del Gatto (15 Rounds, Ghost in the Graveyard), television content for Aura Media Productions (Comic Vibe), and gaming content for YouGoFar Productions (Lucky Pooper). My screenplays have been winners and semi-finalists in competitions such as Austin Film Festival and Story Pros, and I've served as a screenplay reader for the Austin and Nashville Film Festivals.
My fiction and poetry have been published around 60 times in anthologies (For When the Veil Drops and Read by Dawn Vols. 1 – 3 ), magazines (Space and Time), and online (Chizine.com). My writing has earned me 3 Honorable Mentions in The Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror and a nomination for the Science Fiction Poetry Association’s annual Rhysling Award.
My usual genres are horror and psychological thriller; I believe my background as a professional behavior specialist helps me create realistic characters and place them in terrifying situations. However, I'm also interested in science fiction, fantasy, dark drama, and offbeat comedy.
