About J.

I'm an award-winning filmmaker. I've worked various credited and uncredited positions on over 30 productions ranging from stage and television programs for live broadcast and networks such as VH1 and FOX, produced several promotional and music videos for entertainers and rap artists, and have written, directed, and/or produced 7 short and 2 feature-length movies as well as having written 10 screenplays and 3 books.

Moved to the Detroit Metro area in 2012. I have written 4 feature screenplays and I am shopping them around out in L.A., which is kinda difficult to do from Michigan. I also have been developing over 20 TV series concepts for the last 20 years. In 2017, I created, produced, wrote, and directed a short-lived horror anthology TV series called Living Nightmares that aired on Detroit's TV20 local access.

Aside from movie production and screenwriting, I stretch my talents into other fields of entertainment. I'm an author of horror fiction and have had my work featured in several publications. I own my own book publishing label, "Blood Type H", through which I also publish my horror fiction. I'm also an accomplished photographer, an award-winning artist, and a former FX makeup artist, and used to do standup comedy.

I have 4 feature-length screenplays for which I'm seeking financing: a horror anthology, a monster movie, a horror/western, and an action/drama.

Unique traits: Left handed. Wild sense of humor and a prankster. Speak fluent Pig Latin.
