Hi everyone and thanks for checking out my bio!

I'm new to screenwriting but I've always dreamt of pursuing it as a career. I've been writing for my own pleasure since I was 14 yrs. Writing truly is my passion.

Writing has carried me through some pretty tough situations in life, giving me an outlet I would not have otherwise had, but it's also given me the opportunity to put down on paper those more sublime moments or the moments that made me smile most.

I don't know how to describe it but when I quiet myself and reach for that creative, imaginative part of me, something happens and the next thing I know, I'm penning (or keyboarding) my thoughts & feelings as the only means of catharsis I know.

Often I'll let years pass and then one day I'll grab a cup-o-joe and spend an afternoon looking back on what I've written and I've got to tell you, there are times I cringe at what read, thinking "wow who was that person?", while at other times I've been genuinely impressed and thought, "wow, I forgot I wrote that, that's really good!"

But no matter what, I've always, always continued writing and I'm talking 'nearly' ever single day. I can't image a day without some form of writing, even if it's just a quick note of some sort. And no, I'm not talking shopping list, though I've jotted down some pretty amusing shopping lists too!

Now my daughter is raised and out on her own. I don't need the big, shiny non-creative business career to provide for her. Finally I'm in a position to give total focus to my craft and mold myself a new life from the clay of my past.
