Lance Dickinson serves as president of Valley Barn Pictures an independent film company based in Los Angeles, he is an established filmmaker with 50+ projects spanning 18 years in film and television such as Stand Up Guys, The Artist, Yes Man, Angie Tribeca, Parks and Recreations.
Growing up in Hollywood (Florida), his passion for filmmaking began in 1977 when he fell in love with visual storytelling and collaborated with a cousin to create various 8mm stop motion films immediately after the release of Star Wars – A New Hope.
Lance produced/directed Body Of Work and The Coffee Thief; official selection of the San Diego film festival. More recently, he executive produced the successful film RESET which explores teen addiction and recovery. As producer, Dickinson just wrapped web-series, Earth Angel currently in post-production for release in 2015. Lance continues to develop new voices; collaborating with emerging writers/directors to complete their vision and tell a compelling story.
